Lyon County is located in the southwestern part of Minnesota in what is considered the "Prairie Pothole" region.
Lyon SWCD assists rural and urban residents in the protection and enhancement of the natural resources.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Lyon SWCD staff will have our hours reduced as of August 1, 2010 due to funding reductions
Lyon SWCD staff will be available Monday through Thursdays. This includes: Rose Anderson, Bernie Louwagie and Laura DeBeer
NRCS staff will be continuing with a schedule of Monday through Friday.
Due to field work, the office may be closed all or part of Fridays. We are sorry for any problems this may cause. If funding is made available in the future, we will reconsider the work schedule
